Fortune cookie

You may have heard about fortune cookies from comedian Russel Peters. I have heard of fortune cookies. But I've yet to see them, or try them. Till I went to this chinese restaurant that gives free fortune cookies after the meal. It's wicked to know that actually, this small little piece of thing, is invented by an Japanese, was first served in America in early 1900s.

I had my first fortune cookie. It taste just like normal cookie.. sweet and crispy.

Nobody can be exact like you

I knew that! Long time ago..

Well, tomorrow I'll be meeting the PM. Stay tuned to CNA (channel news asia) on either Monday or Tuesday. But I guess, what are the probability of me being on there? Not very much..

Food Glory!

Good Evening to USA-ians and Good Afternoon to Singaporeans!

Well, I've went to Salt Lake City. I sure did enjoyed myself. I've got tons of photos to share and it tops the number of photos I take for a whole year. I'm in the midst of it. There will be an entry about it, but I need to arrange them all. And Jerry's wringing my neck on his blog issues. I guess that's what tomorrow's all about! I guess? I hope?

Well, stranded in the land where fries is their main dish and seperated 20K over miles from Singapore. It sure is heart warming to have some local food that's prepared specially for gatherings and for me! No joke!

Nasi Briyani

Where's the Nasi? I'm expecting this question from you all. Well, logical it may sound, it's all in my tummy when I took the picture.

Pulot Hitam (黑糯米aka or bi muey)

Surprisingly good for the fact that it's prepared by my tamil friend's mother-in-law. Taste exquisite. Never will you get that taste if you buy if off the hawker stalls.

Laksa

Prepared by my Ma'am over here at PCV. I help shipped it over! I had chicken rice the other day prepared by her. But there wasn't any chicken, it's just the rice.

And this, is home cooked food.

Prepared by my Ma'am over here at PCV too. But not the same one. I just had this for dinner. Everything just feels so home cooked.

There are several occasions that Alvin invited me over to his house for dinner. I didn't get to take any pictures cause it's really gay to take photos while others are waiting for you to start tucking in. It's just plain rude, so I decided to go without it.

Now that my guitar's here, I'm going to coop up everyday! I've got a ESP Hex-7, Randall Ninja Amp and that small little box there, contains my new Seymour Duncan Mick Thomson Model Blackouts that I'm going to fit in my MTM1 once I get my ass back to Singapore. Can't wait!

He's a jolly good fellow

Good Afternoon friends!

No one bothers to read my blog, but I still make it a point to update it! Well, I went to the annual Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo and it's really an eye opener for me. I get to see real cowboys horse riding and see them tackle a little bull while they are on the horse. It's amazing

I do apologise beforehand for the quality of the pictures. It's the sidekick and it cannot zoom. Drats.

Just beginning of the show, one of the cowboy fell from the horse and got badly injured while the paramedics tend to him. The commentator say it's rare to see this kind of situation on a show. More common seen while the cowboys practice. Daredevils I would say.

Took a good 10 minutes before the show starts again.

Look at the speed of the horse! I was sitting down there and the horse just zoomed by.

This clown is there to entertain the crowd between intervals. He was rising a mini chopper and pissing the commentator off. He's really a joker. He took off all his clothes less the jumpsuits, claiming that he's on fire. -.-

This little girl damn cute. She was so engrossed with the show that when the horse sped past and kicked up the dirt, she still stood there. She got full blast of all the dirt.

The show's rather repetitive. So we left early. It was around 9.30pm when we left. Look at the sun!

The 428th Squadron's Buccaneers.

It's amazing how honored and proud their people feel about the people serving the country. Most Singapore's Macdonald have an individual theme for that outlet. In America, this is the Macdonald that we always drive thru and this is the only time I went in there. The theme was for the Air Force. It's amzing.

That's about it.

I'm heading to Salt Lake City, Utah over the next weekend. It's July 4th, Independence Day for USA! So, Hooray for us! I will be bringing my Renoir Camera there so there are better pictures. Starting to regret buying my sidekick now. Drats.

what the hell man, everyone's blog need to be invited. sooner or later, all the links are going to be gone. I'll probably take them out by tomorrow. sucks to click on links that either map you out or pops you an error message.

I'm in a pissy mood.

Happy Father's Day!

The day have ended for Singapore. But it's still Sunday right here in the states. I guess it's still legit for me to say this.

Happy Father's Day.

I miss my family, my friends and everyone that I've crossed path with.

I'll update this space soon. If there's interesting stuff around USA. I haven't been out of town so there's nothing I can update. I'm heading to Salt Lake City coming July 4th. And hopefully catch Stone Sour in August. I really want to catch a concert here in the States. All plannings are still in progress..
